REGARDING SEXUAL ASSAULT

In light of revelations that have been made and those brave to speak out on their experiences, our officer board felt it was important to release the linked statement below in support of those who have been impacted by sexual assault.

We have also released an Incidents & Concerns Form as a way of upholding the safety of our community. If an individual is found to have compromised that safety, they will be put on our blacklist. More information on this form is within the form description, linked below.

We want to make it clear that FSA has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on perpetrators of sexual assault, and that the officer board will always be here to listen to and support victims, and take action if necessary. If needed, please also see the compiled resources via the link below.

in solidarity #blacklivesmatter

See below for UT Filipino Student Association’s official statement in solidarity with the memory of George Floyd and the Minneapolis protests, the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and our Black peers on the Forty Acres. Written by our very own co-president Tavina Singleton on behalf of the officer board.

You will also find the link to our Bayanihan Change for Justice Initiative, an annual weeklong event where FSA commits to raising donations and fostering support for the Black community. This year, we raised $3418.00 towards the NAACP's Legal Defense and Education Fund.
